Custom Epoxy & Resin Brisbane

True chemical bonding. No cheap garage paints. Heavily prepped, zero-peel resin systems engineered to withstand heavy impact.

The Difference Between a True Resin Application and Cheap Garage Paint.

A permanent epoxy floor requires heavy diamond profiling, moisture mitigation, and high-build industrial resins. Most volume outfits will just acid-wash the slab and roll out a thin coat of hardware-store paint that peels the second a hot tire hits it.

We don’t do paint jobs.

We build permanent, zero-peel resin applications for premium residential garages and heavy commercial fitouts.

The Commoner Collective Standard

Four stages of chemical engineering and heavy prep. Zero shortcuts. Here is how we guarantee a permanent bond.

Heavy-Duty Industrial Epoxy

Epoxy is a structural chemical bond engineered for massive impact. We create seamless, hygienic surfaces resistant to chemical spills, forklift traffic, and heavy machinery. Built for spaces where failure isn’t an option.

Suits: Warehouses, aviation hangars, commercial kitchens, manufacturing facilities, and high-traffic retail.

High-Build Solid Colour

A heavy-duty, multi-coat system providing a massive, flawless block of color. It seals the concrete entirely, making it waterproof, highly durable, and incredibly easy to maintain.

Anti-Slip & Safety Compliance

We broadcast specialised quartz or aluminium oxide aggregates directly into the wet epoxy layers. This creates a highly durable, textured surface that meets strict commercial OH&S slip-rating requirements.

Architectural Flake Solutions

Beyond industrial durability, resin offers high-end aesthetics. We use UV-stable flake systems that hide dirt and tire marks to completely transform dusty, cracked concrete into a premium, showroom-quality floor.

Suits: Luxury residential garages, automotive showrooms, boutique retail, and custom feature rooms.

Premium Multi-Layer Flake

We broadcast premium vinyl flakes into a wet epoxy base until the floor is completely covered (full broadcast). Once cured, we scrape it flat and lock it in with two layers of clear polyaspartic topcoat, creating a textured, granite-like finish that outlasts the house.

Choosing Commoner Collective

The reputation built in the trenches.

I had three different guys out to quote the garage. Two of them just wanted to acid wash it and slap paint down in a day. Al actually explained why that peels and walked me through his prep process. He spent hours just grinding the slab before a single drop of epoxy went down. The final flake floor is rock solid. You absolutely get what you pay for with this bloke.

Ascot

We run a busy logistics facility and needed a floor that could take a beating from forklifts and heavy machinery. Al is a machine. He was on site early and didn't hand the job off to some young apprentice.

The solid color resin system he poured is bulletproof.

David S

Eagle Farm

Our shop fitout needed something unique, not just standard grey concrete. Al designed a custom metallic epoxy for us and the result is honestly stunning. He’s incredibly particular about his work and obsesses over the details. It’s rare to find a tradesman as meticulous as he was, but that's exactly what he did.

FAQ

Common Questions About Epoxy & Resin

01. Will hot tires peel the epoxy in my garage?

No. “Hot tire pickup” only happens with cheap paints and poor prep. Because we mechanically profile the slab with Auskut grinders and use industrial-grade resins, the epoxy chemically bonds to the concrete and will not peel.

02. Can you put epoxy over a damaged or cracked slab?

Yes. During the preparation phase, we chase out all cracks with a diamond blade and fill them with a specialised structural epoxy binder. We grind it completely flat before laying the floor system.

03. Is epoxy slippery when wet?

Standard epoxy can be slippery. However, we specifically engineer the texture to your needs. For garages and commercial spaces, we add anti-slip aggregates to the topcoat to ensure the floor is safe when wet.

04. How long does the installation take?

A proper multi-layer resin system usually takes 3 to 4 days. This allows adequate time for mechanical preparation, moisture barriers, base coats, broadcasting, and topcoats to properly cure between stages.
